Iran is ready to restart atomic talks with the United States provided that it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has stated.

Abbas Araghchi declared exclusively dialogue was effective, and shared recent overtures had come from mediators to reopen negotiations with the US government. He asserted Iran had zero undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran was not yet able to permit the global atomic watchdog to access bombed nuclear sites for security reasons.

Walking a Challenging Course

The foreign minister is navigating a complex course since Iran wishes not to appear to be operating from a position of disadvantage, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had arisen more resilient in military terms and mentally from the coordinated strike on its enrichment centers in June.

He was talking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an inalienable right to enrich uranium domestically that it will never give up" – the main reason of the impasse in the earlier negotiations.

Prior Talks Abruptly Terminated

The previous five rounds of talks between the US and Iran were brought to an abrupt and acrimonious conclusion on 12 June when the Israeli government, with US support, struck Iranian nuclear sites in a fortnight-long engagement that culminated with the American leader claiming the locations had been eliminated. Following this, EU nations employed their privilege to reinstate global restrictions, but Iran insists they have not had a major impact.

Magic Solution Proposed

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had achieved a "ideal resolution" to the enrichment issue in previous talks, when it was decided an Iran-based consortium with US participation could process nuclear material. Each party would have been able to claim victory since domestic enrichment would have continued and the US could be confident that Iran's nuclear programme was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been decided in the talks that US nuclear scientists could work inside Iran, but that was a natural consequence of the partnership suggestion. Diplomats stated on multiple occasions they had reached agreement with Washington's diplomat the American negotiator only for the agreement to collapse due to "opponents in the US".

Present Situation

Iranian officials declared the cooperative arrangement was now no longer available, but it seems highly likely the suggestion could be revived in certain ways if negotiations resume.

The US president last week stated he had been receiving messages that Iran desired to reopen negotiations, but confidentially Iranian officials say they are not yet receiving clear proposals from America either straightforwardly or from key regional mediators, such as Qatar, Egypt, the Omani authorities and the Saudi kingdom. The Iranian foreign ministry has been criticized of non-responsiveness in the face of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Iran asserts negotiations is not part of a spectacle.

Political Standpoint

In his address to the forum, intended to depict the US as a hegemonic power that misuses the idea of worldwide standards, the foreign minister declared the two-week conflict showed the dispute could not be resolved by armed force. He asserted the attacks started with a US demand for an total Iran submission and ended with an absolute demand for a truce.

Iran is convinced the first strikes by Israel were executed with total Washington understanding and collaboration, making trust challenging to restore.

Negotiations Continues the Primary Resolution

The foreign minister declared: "It was not Iran that had fled diplomacy; it was America and the Western nations that had consistently sought to impose their demands during the negotiations. Negotiations can still be viable and stays the final answer to resolve conflicts, but its standards, regulations and principles must be followed."

"In case they address to the nation of Iran with the approach of dignity and respect, they will get a reply in the equivalent tone."

Repair and Recovery

In what is characterized by Tehran representatives as the struggle of repair and recovery, Araghchi claimed he was certain Iran's security strengths "are considerably enhanced than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been restored. We acquired many lessons from this war; we have discovered our internal vulnerabilities and the weaknesses of the adversary."

He stated: "We successfully passed this engagement. Our enrichment knowledge, which they aimed to destroy, remains in place. The facilities and equipment, if destroyed, will be rebuilt; what is crucial is the resolve of the nation of Iran and then the social solidarity that they aimed at, but did not succeed to shatter. The Iranian people have become stronger, more cohesive, and more backing of the administration and the nation in the wake of this assault."
